Klahowya Brothers,
National Public Lands Day is right around the corner so mark it on your Calendars! On September 30th, T’Kope Kwiskwis will be helping support our public lands by cleaning up our beaches at Olympic National Park. In an attempt to make our service a little more fun we are trying to make our annual support of NPLD an overnight campout for all who attend. This way we can all enjoy our national public land not only through service but camping as well.
We hope to see you there and please be sure to stay tuned for more details about National Public Lands Day.

REMIND Klahowya Brothers!
The lodge now has a Remind account. This allows us all to keep in better communication by receiving messages and lodge announcements via text.
• To join: Text this message: @tkopek To this number: 81010
The lodge can send a text, and everyone who is signed up will receive that text. This is not a chat group; you can reply to the Lodge messages, but your reply will ONLY go to the Remind administrator, NOT the entire lodge (don't worry about your phone blowing up with messages).
Spread this around to all your brothers in T'Kope to help ensure our lodge stays connected and informed.

National Public Lands Day at Olympic National Park Klahowya,
On September 30th, T'Kope Kwiskwis Lodge will be joining the festivities of National Public Lands Day by helping clean up our beaches at Olympic National Park. A new change to the event this year is that we have made it into an overnight campout so you have ample time to enjoy the beauty of our national parks as well. We intend to drive up Saturday morning and check into Mora Campground where we will be camping. We will then drive to the Second Beach where we will be cleaning up and enjoying the view. We will end the day at Mora Campground. So, mark the date and we hope to see you there participating in all the fun of NPLD!

Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Barbeque
Klahowya,
On July 21st, the brothers of Lamonti Tupso Illahee gathered together for an overnight backyard BBQ to pass the torch to the new chapter chief of the chapter Xander Kidwell. The chapter also got the chance to see the log they will be using for their totem pole. This will help kick off the planning process for the totem. Overall everyone had a great time and LTI is looking to do the same thing next summer!

Get Excited for Conclave! Klahowya,
Coming soon on September 15th to the 17th is the Section Conclave! This year, T’Kope is hosting Conclave at Camp Pigott. For this reason, we are wanting as many of our arrowmen as possible to register as staff. If you would like to spend a weekend helping give Section W-1N an amazing weekend, please click the two links bellow to sign up.
The cost for this weekend is $70, but only $50 if you register before September 10, and $45 if you went through your ordeal within the past year.
For any of you who are just going as a participant, you will still have a wonderful time! This year’s theme is superheroes, so we have many great activities including a Super Smash Brothers tournament and we are also hoping to get displays from all branches of the US military, Search and Rescue, the Sheriff’s department, and from the fire department. Along with these events, we will be having the ranges, COPE, whiffle ball golf, rock climbing, any many more other activities. Lastly, we will be hosting a patch auction at Conclave to send arrowmen to the National Leadership Seminar.
See you all there!
