Have you ever sailed an 18th Century Tall Ship?  Neither have I, but in September you and I will go on a 3-hour cruise on Lake Washington in one of two 18th Century Historical, Tall Sailing Ships, the Lady Washington or Hawaiian Chieftain.

Grays Harbor Historical Seaport will have each of their ships at Carillion Point and has offered the Sammamish Trails District the special opportunity to sail with them.  This is an educational, hands-on, actual sailing experience where the crew (that would be you) sails the ship, experience life on board a ship in the 18th Century, and learn from the crew about the ship. The District has a limited number of spaces available and invites...

you, your pack, troop, or crew to come aboard. The cost is $35.00 per adult or youth participant and must be paid when you make the reservation.  Age appropriate adult supervision required.  This can be an individual or group activity.

The sailings are 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM on Saturday, September 8th or 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM on Sunday, September 9th both are leaving from 1200 Carillion Point, Kirkland, WA.

This is a very special opportunity for Sammamish Trails District. Download:  pdf Voyage of Explorers Brochure
