Abracadabra, Cub Scout Magic!
We have a special Cub Scout roundtable meeting on November 9th at 7:00 PM. I’d love to have all the Cub Masters, and there will be something for all leaders.
Blue and Gold is a banquet birthday party for the BSA that is usually held in February, but you should start planning several months in advance. The suggested theme this year is Abracadabra, and there are many ideas in the Pack Meeting Plans. http://www.scouting.org/filestore/cubscouts/pdf/2017/310-842(17)_February_Cheerful.pdf. At Roundtable you will get hands on practice, learn some cub scout magic, and make an easy craft to help make your Blue and Gold truly magical.
The Order of the Arrow will also show their Arrow of Light ceremony (and you’ll learn how to get them to come to your pack)
- Learn some basic magic tricks for Blue and Gold award ceremonies
- Simple magical table decorations
- Bring a magic trick to share!
Note: Roundtable is held at the Rose Hill LDS building. 7720 126th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98033
