The Chief Seattle Council office and Scout shop is closed to the public until further notice. Support staff are available Tuesday – Friday from 10am – 5pm via phone and email. Appointments with staff available by request. We will be monitoring the governor’s COVID policies for businesses and will adjust our hours accordingly.
Scouts BSA is an outdoor program designed to develop character, citizenship, and fitness for youth ages 11 through 17. Through the advancement program and peer group leadership, Scouting helps all youth develop into a well-rounded individuals. The Eagle Scout Award, the highest rank in Scouting, is recognized around the world as a mark of excellence.
In the Chief Seattle Council, Scouts look forward to Camping opportunities and many other District Activities. In Scouts, youth take responsibility for the activities of the troop. By planning and organizing activities, they develop teamwork and learn to lead as well as follow. After Scouts BSA, many young men and women transition into the Venturing program.
Venturing is a program for young men and women ages 14-20. It provides options for those looking for high adventure or challenging sporting activities and still want to be part of the advancement opportunities and values development of the Boy Scouts of America.
