Rentals and Retreats – Chief Seattle Council

Welcome to the Chief Seattle Council online camp rental system!  We offer 7 camp facilities for Scouting groups or Non-BSA group camping, retreats, events, weddings, teambuilding, or training.  Our facilities include:

  • Camp Parsons.  On the Hood Canal, Olympic Peninsula, with campsites, cabins, shelters, dining hall & kitchen and beautiful views of the canal and mountains
  • Camp Pigott.  Near Monroe, with campsites, cabins, shelters, dining hall & kitchen, a low and high ropes (COPE) course, and Climbing Tower
  • Camp Edward.  Near Monroe, with campsites, cabins, dining hall & kitchen
  • Camp Sheppard.  At the base of Mt. Rainier, 15 minutes to Crystal Mountain, with heated Chalet-style cabins, dining hall & kitchen
  • Camp Fife.  Located at Goose Prairie, east of Mt. Rainier National Park, with dining hall & kitchen, two large cabins and several campsites
  • Scout-a-Vista.   Alpine camp located in the Cascades northeast of Mission Ridge Ski Resort, with lodge, winter cabin and campsites
  • Camp Bonaparte. Located on Bonaparte Lake in the Okanogan Highlands near Tonasket, with dining hall & kitchen, and campsites

Registration Information

BSA Groups:  Please use the BSA Group Online Rental Reservations portal for your desired camp (see camps listed below) to complete your online reservation.

Non-BSA Groups:  For groups not part of BSA, please use the Non-BSA Group Online Rental Request system to make a rental request.  This is a request only. You will then be contacted by the Camping Department to make arrangements.

Non-BSA Groups

Whether you are part of a youth non-profit, religious, school, military group or planning a wedding, we are pleased you are considering us for your next conference, event, or campout activity.  

To make a rental request, check out our camp offerings below, then complete and submit the Non-BSA Group Online Rental Request form.  This is a request only. You will then be contacted by the Camping Department to make arrangements.

OUR CAMP FACILITIES

Camp Parsons

Camp Parsons is situated on the Olympic Peninsula “where the mountains meet the sea.”  A true getaway experience with stunning scenery, Camp Parsons is one of the oldest Scout camps in America, providing wilderness adventure to Scouts and Scouters since 1919.  Facilities range from the historic Silver Marmot Grill (now office and meeting room) to the beautiful new Dining Hall with state of the art kitchen. 

Campsites feature either rustic open-air shelters with bunks, “stents” (wooden tent structures) or open areas to pitch tents.  Showers and flush toilet facilities are nearby.  Staff cabins and medic’s lodge are also available.

Camp Pigott

Located at the foot of the Cascade Range near Camp Edward, Camp Pigott is set on its own lake, featuring modern facilities such as a spacious dining hall with fully equipped kitchen, beautiful campfire bowl, and central building with private restrooms and showers. Each campsite features either Adirondack shelters with bunks, stents (wooden tent shelters), or space to pitch your own tents, and flush toilet facilities nearby.  Staff cabins and yurts are also available.

COPE/Climbing at Camp Pigott

Located at Camp Pigott, Chief Seattle Council’s state-of-the-art COPE course is a premier teambuilding and personal initiative program for Youth age 13 up to Adults. COPE activities help units learn to work more effectively as teams while providing a safe, fun place to challenge themselves to perform at their best.

Camp Edward

Situated at the foothills of the Cascade mountain range approximately one hour from Seattle, our Cub Scout camp, Camp Edward, offers a great location for youth activities. The camp features a newly renovated dining hall, waterfront, play fields, nature trails and a fantastic craft lodge. Cub World (fort, mine, and tower) are also available for use. Campsites include campfire pit, 8-person cabins with bunks and screened windows, or plenty of space to pitch tents. Private shower and restroom facilities are centrally located nearby.  Staff cabins are also available for rent.

Camp Sheppard

Camp Sheppard is located in the spectacular Cascade Mountains in Mount Rainier National Park, just minutes from Crystal Mountain ski area. Cliffs tower overhead, pristine falls can be found nearby, and giant elk freely roam the meadows. Visitors stay in heated cabins with bunks and may enjoy hiking, or games in the cozy lodge. The lodge features a dining hall and modern kitchen, and the restrooms with showers are centrally located.

Camp Fife

Located on the Eastern slopes of the Cascades at Goose Prairie, Camp Fife provides a beautiful forested alpine setting. Visitors can make use of the dining hall/kitchen, which features a large downstairs dining area, as well as a large meeting room suitable for trainings or private meals.  Two lodges and campsites are also available for rentals.

Note: Due to snow during the winter months until April 15, only the All-Seasons Lodge is accessible.  Heat and water are shut off to camp facilities, so groups must provide their own.  Port-a-potties are provided.

Camp Bonaparte

Located on Bonaparte Lake in the Colville National Forest, Camp Bonaparte offers a picturesque, rustic environment.  This high-elevation camp features  campsites,  dining area, outdoor shower and outhouse facilities.  The lake is popular for sport fishing with 6 species of fish.

Note: During the winter months until May 1, heat and water are shut off to camp facilities, so groups must provide their own.  After that date, campsites only will be available.

Scout-a-Vista

Located northeast of Mission Ridge Ski Resort, Scout-a-Vista is a popular alpine camp for groups enjoying winter sports.  The camp features a dining lodge with kitchen, winter cabin, restroom/shower building and campsites.  

Due to snow during the winter months until April 1, campsites are unavailable. Water is unavailable to camp facilities, so groups must provide their own.  Port-a-potties are provided.
