Your family has joined the nation’s foremost character development organization for youth!  We are very excited to have you become a part of Chief Seattle Council.   Your joining over 25,000 other Scouts and Leaders in the great adventure of Scouting!   Our council serves Clallam, Jefferson, King, Kitsap and North Mason counties.  Our goal is for you and your family to spend time together engaging in new adventures side-by-side and having a lot of fun along the way.

The next step is to help you and your child connect with Scouts near you.  You might already know the local leaders and be ready to begin.   If you’re unsure of your status, or where to start, please call Chief Seattle Council office at 206.725.5200 and we will connect you with someone to get you started.

For an even better time, #BringAFriend along on all your adventures and #ShareScouting!

Youth Protection  The safety of your child is our top priority.  The Chief Seattle Council requires that each adult leader complete Youth Protection Training prior to the adult application being accepted.  Please use this link to complete the online training.  At the end of the training, print the certificate and submit it along with your leader application.  Chief Seattle requires that Youth Protection Training be completed annually.

Cub Scouts
Welcome to the adventure of Cub Scouts, we are really happy to have you and your child join us for some fun and adventures.   Your child will become part of a small den and a large Pack as they move along the advancement trail.   Packs are set up in local areas with units reflecting the unique attributes of each community. More information and many answers to your questions about Cub Scouts can be found on our  website.

Scouts BSA
While 93% of the youth entering the Scout program began their journey as a Cub Scout, there is no prerequisite for Scouts to have participated while they were younger.  The pinnacle of the Scout BSA program is earning the rank of Eagle.

Are you ready to Lead the Adventure?  Venturing, the older youth program for guys and gals, ages 14 - up to 21, is what you want!  Check out our Council Venturing website for more exciting information. We can’t wait to see you on our next adventure.
