Youth and Adult Awards and Recognition

Most adult awards and recognitions have certificates, pins or medals, and a patch usually with a square knot embroidered on it in different colors.  Adult leaders wear these square knot patches on their uniform over the left pocket.  The order that they are worn is up to the individual.

Campfire Skits and Theme

Campfire theme style event whereby there is an opener, comradery,  then the awards.
This is a Territory wide Award night so all units in our Territory (Olympus and Kitsap) are eligible.

If there are OA members, Sea Scouts and Venturing crews available, come on down.   I’ve been told max capacity is “a-lot”.

Some items to  considered include:
Allowance of those units that want, overnight opportunity exists, there is a place to set up tents to have a place to do advancement overnight or cooking or just hang out.

This is open to both scouts and non-scouts, bring a friend is encouraged. Bring two, I have lots of applications to hand out.

Notification to those that will receive awards, but not which award(s) would go out via email or phone call, before the 1st of September.

Allowing for them to plan to attend either as a family, unit, or individually.

Hoping both youth and adults of our units will join to help celebrate their fellow members and leaders.
