Program and Training Conference (PTC)
TRAINING TO THE EXTREME!
Chief Seattle Council’s Program & Training Conference is an area-wide, one stop training for all adults who work within a unit in any role. The all-day conference will feature many outstanding opportunities including those for position specific training such as Cub , Scout , Venturing , and Sea Scout leaders and advisors, as well as fun and educational topic that the scouting community is passionate about.
Date: Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Location: Kentridge High School, 12430 SE 208th St, Kent, WA 98031
Cost: $30 – After Sunday, October 27th registration cost increases to $45.Lunch will be provided to those who register by October 31st.

2024 PTC Keynote Speaker
Glen Pounder, Scouting America’s Chief Safeguarding Officer
This year we are pleased to have Glen Pounder address our attendees to the conference. He has played a pivotal role in leading the assessment and oversight of all youth safeguarding activities nationwide. His responsibilities include policy formulation, training, liaison with the National Executive Board, strategic planning, external partnerships, legislation, and engagement with the survivor community.
