Grand Columbia Training Weekend at Camp Fife

Join us for adult training opportunities at Camp Fife!  Course information is listed below and includes BALOO, IOLS, Archery L1 and L2, and BB Range Master.

Date: September 15, 2:00pm to September 17, 5:00pm, 2023
Location: Camp Fife, 8370 Bumping River Road, Goose Prairie, WA
Cost: $20 per person plus the fee for the course.  Course fees varies per training.  See the courses below for specific costs.

Fees below are in addition to the $20 per person registration cost.

BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation)
Days: 8am Saturday to 11:30am Sunday $10 additional charge (to the $20 registration fee).
Cost: $10.00
Note: BALOO has REQUIRED Prerequisite online learning modules (total of 35-40 mins), providing a knowledge base prior to taking the BALOO Outdoor course, which MUST be completed prior to attending the outdoor portion.

IOLS (Introductions to Outdoor Leader Skills)
Days: 8am Saturday to 11:30am Sunday $10 additional charge (to the $20 registration fee)
Cost: $10.00

Archery L1
Days: 8am to 12:15pm Saturday.
Cost: $45.00

Note: To complete the requirements for certification, students MUST successfully pass the USA Archery L1 Instructor Certification ONLINE COURSE, including the online exam at this link: https://usarchery.sport80.com/v/444604/e/courses

Archery L2
Days: 1pm to 5pm Saturday
Cost: $45.00

Note: Candidates must complete the SafeSports training, similar to YPT. Level 1 instructor training is NOT required as a prerequisite for taking Level 2.
Please follow these steps to take the online Level 2 course:

  • Go to https://usarchery.sport80.com/login
  • Create a full adult membership account($70/year) if you do not have one
  • Submit a USA Archery Background Screen
  • While logged in, select “Members” and then click anywhere on your
    profile box.
  • Click “Background Screening” on the secondary column below your
    name and Profile
  • Click “+ Add Background Screening” and follow the prompts
  • Complete the free Center for SafeSport Training
  • Click “Center for SafeSport Training”(The Center for SafeSport Training is the tab below Background Screening)
  • If you have completed the SafeSport Training for another sport, email
    certifications@usarchery.org.
  • Register for the Level 2 Online Course here.
  • Follow the prompts to check out

BB Rangemaster
Days: 1pm to 5pm Sunday
Cost: $10.00
Note: BB/slingshot rangemaster certifications are valid for 2 years from the date of training.

Camp Over
Days: F, SA
Note: Use of a campsite Friday-Saturday; No additional charge; no dinner provided
