Over the weekend Sea Scouts from Portland joined the Sea Scouts from Ship 1212, the SSS Marvin Shields in the Peninsula Territory for an amazing day on the water.
They were supported by the USCG Station Port Angeles who provided activities for the Sea Scouts. They ended the day with a presentation on aquatic leave no trace and a pizza party.
Sea Scouts are a great option for older youth in Chief Seattle Council, and youth can even dual register and participate in Scouts BSA and Sea Scouts. For more information on Sea Scouts talk with your DE or contact the council office for a direct link to a unit. Or visit the Sea Scouts program page for a list of active ships and contacts to join! https://seattlebsa.org/sea-scouts/
