Cub Scout Day Camp

Each year hundreds of youth enjoy day programs at one of our many day camp sites spread across the multiple counties served by Chief Seattle Council. Campers will learn new skills, make friends, and have more fun than they can imagine as they adventure in a host of fun “Cubs Go West” themed activities, games and play.

Who Can Attend Camp?

All youth must be entering 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade in September 2025. Kindergarteners during the 2024-2025 school year may attend. Youth entering Kindergarten in September 2025 do not meet the age requirements for Day Camp.

If your child is entering 1st Grade in September 2025, we require that a parent/guardian accompany them during the Day Camp.

* Day Camp is open also open to non- members of Scouting America to attend!

Camperships

Campership funds may be available to members of Chief Seattle Council, fill out the form HERE.

Adult Volunteers

Our day camps happen thanks to amazing volunteers. We askk all parents (or a family member, family friend, sibling ages 18+, etc) of youth attending camp to volunteer for at least two days to ensure a quality program.

Because volunteers make the camp go, we are offering a DISCOUNT for those families who can provide a volunteer to help cover this time! THIS year, we are offering a $50 discount for any family who can help cover at LEAST two days! Please, if you are able to do so, consider covering as many of the 5 as possible so that we can offer a full week of camp. You can break up the time by having multiple people cover – for example Mom covers Monday and Tuesday, Grandma covers Wednesday, and Dad has Thursday and Friday. Again, does NOT have to be just parents who can cover these spots! Contact us with any questions you may have.

The Camps

There are currently five sites and six sessions to choose from. Families can choose any camp that works best for their family, location and schedule. Youth may also be registered to attend more than one camp session!

Day Camp - Royal Arch Park

Date: August 11th – 15th, 2025

Day Camp - Kitsap County Fairgrounds Cub Scouts in 1st - 3rd Grade

Date: July 14th – 18th, 2025
Location: Kitsap County Fairgrounds in Bremerton

Day Camp - Kitsap County Fairgrounds Cub Scouts in 4th - 5th Grade

Date: July 21st – 25th, 2025
Location: Kitsap County Fairgrounds in Bremerton

Day Camp - Lake Sammamish State Park

Daytime: July 22nd – 25th, 2025; 8:30 am – 2:15 pm

Twilight: July 21st – 24th, 2025; 2:45 pm – 8:30 pm

Location: Hans Jensen Group Campground at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah

Last day to register is June 30, 2025. Please contact Camp Director at lakesammcubdaycamp@outlook.com to register after June 30th.

Day Camp - Olympic Peninsula

Day Camp - Camp Scout-a-Vista

Date: June 20th – June 22nd, 2025

Cost: $100 Day – $10 per person additional for overnight
