In 1999 Boeing Chairman and CEO Phil Condit devised a late-summer fundraiser trip to bring friends together in a Scout-type setting to have fun, network, and raise money to bring Scouting to under-resourced youth across Chief Seattle Council. It is called The Condit Campout.

“To date we’ve raised about $1.8 million, all aimed at inner-city Scouting,” Condit says. “Our goal is to get kids who wouldn’t ordinarily have a chance to be part of Scouting involved.”

Condit Campout participants, business and community leaders, and Scouting supporters are invited to Suncadia, all to benefit Scouts in our community.
