Memorials

If you have a loved one or friend who has been impacted by the Scouting program, making a memorial gift is a meaningful way to honor their memory and support Chief Seattle Council programs.

Gifts made in memoriam are added to Chief Seattle Council’s permanent endowment fund. This professionally-managed fund ensures that Scouting programs are supported for future generations.

At the request of family members, a dedicated giving page can be set-up to promote memorial gifts. If someone is not listed below, gifts can still be made in memoriam by clicking on the the ‘make a memorial gift’ button.

How we communicate with families:

The names of donors who make memorial gifts will be shared unless they are marked as anonymous. A donor’s name, address, and phone number are included, but individual giving amounts are kept private. This allows family members to communicate with those who made gifts in memory of a loved one, should they choose.
