About Grand Columbia
The Chief Seattle Council is divided into service areas with leadership provided by the District Executive, District Chairman, and the District Commissioner. Except for the District Executive, the committee is staffed by volunteers.
The Grand Columbia Territory encompasses the borders of the former Grand Columbia Council that merged with Chief Seattle Council in 2023. The territory covers most of Central Washington has three districts: Basalt Coulee which serves units from Snoqualmie Pass to Ritzville and Wenatchee to Ellensburg, Highlands which serves units from Mazama to Republic and Chelan to the Canadian border, and Simcoe Mountains that serves units from Mount Rainier to Prosser and Selah to the Oregon border.
