The process for renewing your youth and adult membership has changed. Your unit renews at this time, but families will begin to have different renewal dates based on when they joined Scouting or last renewed. Stay Strong Scouts and to end of popcorn sales because we’re kicking off a 2nd POPTOBERFEST sales incentive contest!  Launching at 5:00pm October 17, 2024 and running through midnight October 31st Scouts will receive 1 entry into the drawing for every $200 in sales during the contest period. Your Unit will be receiving an email with instructions on how to renew (recharter) your unit for 2025. Here’s a few things you can do during October to make things easier, review your roster for:

• Missing adults?
• Youth Protection Training must be current through the end of February or it will stop unit renewal.
• Adults not renewing or retaking Youth Protection must be removed. § Notify Membership (membership@seattlebsa.org) by December 1st to do this – the unit cannot do it themselves.
• Are adults in the correct positions?
• Have any youth aged out?
