Webelos and AOL Adventure Activities for Cubs, Information for Parents!

Who:               Webelos and AOL Cub Scouts and their parents
Where:           Camp Pigott near Monroe, Washington
When:            Friday Sept 20, 4:00 PM – Sunday Sept 22, 11:00AM
What:             An overnight camping event to work on Webelos and AOL Adventure
                         Requirements and meet Scout BSA Troops!
Why:               FUN!  Light a fire!  Learn to cook outdoors!  Build a Shelter!
                         Shoot BB Guns! Complete rank requirements!

    Cast Iron Chef, Stronger Faster Higher, Cast Away, and Into the Wild
  • Camp with your Scout in a Scout Camp!
    Adirondacks, two person cabins, or your own tent.
  • Share in a Campfire Program
  • Supper Fun Halloween closing ceremony!

Check-In for Webelos is at 7:30 am – 8:30 am Saturday, September 21st. Troops assisting with the event are welcome to come up on Friday between 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm and camp out through Sunday morning.

Registration is for Mountain Territory only. Cubs from out of territory will be added to a waitlist if all the spots are not filled by Mountain cubs. For additional questions please contact alpine.webwoods@gmail.com with the Pack number, the Scout’s name, and the Parent’s name.

You do not need to register for a campsite. Your group will be assigned a campsite upon your arrival.

Additional Details:        Your Den camps as a group in your own tents or 2 person cabins or 8 person Adirondacks in a campsite with bathrooms nearby.  There is water, some electricity – for CPAPs, some picnic tables, some supports for dining flys (bring tarps), some covered dining areas, and fire pits.  (Overnight camping is required for AOL Scouts and optional for Webelos 1, if coming for the day, program ends at 8pm)

We provide: All activities during the day Saturday (8am-5pm), Saturday lunch, an evening Campfire program, and an interfaith worship service on Sunday morning.

You provide:  Camping equipment (tents and sleeping bags), cooking equipment (stoves, dishes) and food for Saturday night dinner (a Cast Iron Chef or Castaway requirement) and Sunday breakfast. Please bring a dessert or snack to share with each other around your campfires back at your campsite after the Program.   All you bring will need to be carried or wheelbarrowed to the campsite when you arrive, no vehicles are allowed beyond the parking lot.
